Privacy Policy

Clear rules for a focused wallpaper app.

Depthora provides 4D interactive wallpapers. This policy explains what app data is used, why it is used, and how you can contact us about privacy or deletion requests.

Overview

Depthora is a 4D interactive wallpaper app provided by an independent developer. We keep data collection limited to what is needed to provide wallpaper browsing, preview, favorites, likes, recent-use history, feedback support, localization and service reliability.

Information We Collect

Anonymous app ID

Depthora creates a random anonymous user ID on your device so favorites, likes, viewed wallpapers and recently used wallpapers can work across app sessions.

App activity

When you browse, favorite, like or apply wallpapers, Depthora may send the wallpaper ID, action type, time and anonymous app ID to our server.

Device and network data

Requests may include standard technical information such as IP address, app locale, request URL, headers, user agent and server logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Feedback and support requests

If you submit feedback or request support, Depthora collects the title, message content and email address you provide, together with your anonymous app ID, locale, app locale, user agent and submission time.

On-device motion and touch input

Depthora may use device motion sensor readings and touch input on your device to render interactive wallpaper effects. This input is not uploaded to our server.

Local settings

Depthora stores wallpaper preferences such as motion, touch response, dim level and selected wallpaper data on your device.

Advertising data

Ads are served by Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may collect your device advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data in order to deliver and measure ads.

Information we do not collect: precise location, contacts, photos, videos, camera input, microphone input or payment information.

How We Use Information

  • Provide wallpaper browsing, preview, favorites, likes and recent-use history.
  • Localize app content and improve basic service reliability.
  • Respond to feedback, support requests and billing-related questions you submit.
  • Review feedback trends, troubleshoot issues and prevent abuse of the feedback form.
  • Prevent abuse, debug failures and maintain the app API.
  • Remember local wallpaper preferences on your device.
  • Display advertising through Google AdMob, measure ad performance, and, where you have given consent, show ads based on your advertising ID.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers that host, store, deliver or operate Depthora, such as Cloudflare and Backblaze B2, only as needed to run the app, API and wallpaper content delivery. Advertising is provided by Google AdMob, and Google may process data for ad delivery and measurement as described in its own privacy policy.

Advertising and Consent

Depthora shows ads through Google AdMob to support the free version of the app. AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process data such as your device advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, device type, operating system version, app version and ad interaction data.

Personalized ads: where you have given consent, ads may be personalized using your advertising identifier. Where consent is not given, ads may still be shown, but they are not personalized.

Your choices:

  • If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalized advertising is used, and you can change your choice later in the app.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized advertising in your Android system settings, usually under Settings, Google, Ads.
  • You can learn how Google uses data from apps that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

The advertising SDK runs inside the app. Ad delivery and measurement are handled by Google AdMob, and Depthora's own servers do not receive your advertising ID.

Retention and Deletion

Anonymous app data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service and maintain app records. Feedback and support records are kept only as long as needed to review the request, respond to you, troubleshoot issues and maintain service records.

Data Deletion Requests

You can request deletion of data associated with your use of Depthora. You do not need a Depthora account to make a deletion request.

How to request deletion:

  • Send an email to daolerdeveloper@gmail.com.
  • Use the subject line: Depthora Data Deletion Request.
  • Include your anonymous app ID if available, or the email address used when submitting feedback.

Data we delete:

  • Anonymous app ID records associated with your request.
  • Wallpaper favorites, likes, viewed wallpapers and recent-use history associated with the anonymous app ID.
  • Feedback and support records associated with the provided email address or anonymous app ID.

Data we may keep:

  • Server logs needed for security, abuse prevention and service reliability may be retained for a limited period.
  • Records required by law or needed to resolve disputes may be retained where applicable.

We will review and process deletion requests within a reasonable period after receiving enough information to identify the data.

Depthora is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will review and delete it where appropriate.
